We believe that today’s teens are tomorrow’s trailblazers. We support their ground-breaking ideas by giving them funding and freedom to pursue their vision.
Our Founder
As a serial entrepreneur and start-up founder with decades of business experience, Starseed Fund Founder Ruth Ku is passionate about entrepreneurship and the emergence of new ideas. Inspired by the enthusiasm, inventiveness, and fearlessness that she sees in today’s youth, she established Starseed Fund to give younger people the opportunity to bring their world-changing ideas to life.

Middle or high school student
U.S. resident
We support innovative projects that will have a beneficial effect on others; areas of special interest include social impact, technology, environment, science-based, health/longevity, quality of life, etc.
Requirements

15-minute interview on Zoom
Option to participate in future fundraising
6-month update
We would also love to be able to share your story on this site to help shine a light on what you do and inspire others.

Non-dilutive: we do not take any equity in your project

Grant amount: up to $1,000
Application Process
Submit your idea using our form and include a link to a short video about yourself, your project, and how this grant will help.
We’ll review and respond within a week.
If you’re selected, we’ll schedule a 15-minute interview on Zoom.
If your application is approved, we’ll issue the grant.
